The line outside the movie theater was a lot longer than Casey had expected. The line was made worse by the weather. It was one of the coldest and rainiest days she could remember in a long time. She had once again let herself be talked into going to one of the midnight first screenings for some silly superhero movie just because her best friend Justin wanted to go. Of course his girlfriend didn’t want to go she had something else to do.
So Casey stood there next to Justin in the bitter cold and the freezing rain like a moron because despite the fact that he had a girlfriend, she was pretty sure she was in love with him. Getting to do things like this with him was her last refuge as his girlfriend Amanda sunk her she-claws deeper into him. Casey knew that she should enjoy this time with Justin. Still she spent more time kicking herself in the ass when she was with him because she felt like he belonged with her not the fucking little pom-pom queen.

“Hey guys I’m home,” John said, walking in the front door, a large bag in his hands. He had just come back from looking for some kind of new, fun game for game night that night. Now, game nights with his family, and the neighbors who joined, tended to be pretty intense and competitive. Team games, individual ones, it didn’t matter. Everyone wanted to win. It hadn’t always been that way, though. When game nights had start
I, AutobotI sat with my back against the cliff wall watching the sunset. I was admiring its beauty and was contemplating the events of the last month.
It started with me driving home from work at the air base. I was a Security Forces member at one of the the guard bases in Michigan and had been put on active duty because of the 9/11 attacks. The radio was informing the public that some transformers had been spotted in the vicinity and to report any sightings. The Autobots used to have an alliance with the United States for years but for reasons unknown to the public the U.S. Severed ties with the Autobots and were trying to curtail their movements. My mind was wandering as I was driving so I was surprised when a yellow Volkswagen Beetle zipped past me like I was standing still. The missile that streaked past right behind was even more surprising still! The missile struck the right rear side of the beetle and detonated, sending the car somersaulting through the air.
